Selecting the apps to protect

Most users need VPN for certain apps only. Some apps - like online banking, government services, social media, etc. may not work with VPN at all, getting alerted when you sign in from strange locations.

That's why with Browsec you can choose which apps to protect or bypass. You can reach these settings from the app menu:

or by tapping the gear near the VPN switch:

You'll see Browsec protects all the apps by default:

A VPN connection is secure but usually slower, so choose wisely. For maximum security, set the general switch to On and turn off only the apps to be bypassed:

If you don't worry much about security, turn the general switch Off and turn on only the apps to protect:

Browsec will remember your choice and show the current setting near the VPN switch after you turn it on:
